What happens in your scene? Out line the basic events.

In 2.2, Macbeth has just killed the king. Macbeth and Lady Macbeth are talking about the murder. Macbeth starts hearing voices, which can be interpreted as Duncan’s ghost. Lady Macbeth and Macbeth are talking about how they should hide their guilt.

What do you think are the key purposes of your scene? In other words, what is this scene important?

The key purpose of the scene is to show how Macbeth is changing through this event. He starts to see ghost and hear nonsense. At this point, he seen to know he is doing something wrong unlike Macbeth at the end of the play.

What are your reactions to this scene?

I feel like Macbeth in the play is actually feeling guilty and he cannot clean off his guilt. He feels he cannot go to heaven and he has done something very wrong. I thought that he was feeling guilty unlike Macbeth at the end.
